Project participants: Irina, Aidar, Evgeny. Collaborative work on the postcards from scratch: a logo and slogan, more than 200 sketches from 19 artists, selected layouts — and printing on antique letterpress machines from the late 19th and mid-20th century, brought to Kazan for the first time straight from Germany.
01 / slogan and logo
A logo, headings for 16 postcard themes, and three slogan variants — one of which ended up on the branded envelope.

Max also designed the headings for 16 postcard themes.

Artist Ulyana Bazarova designed the project slogan — the first of two variants.

The third slogan variant was designed by an artist whose name remains a mystery to us. It ended up on the branded envelope.

Layouts selected for production. Shutterstock materials were also used in the work — more than 400 layouts were reworked, some of which were purchased for further use.

05 / letterpress
In parallel, work went into buying, delivering, and setting up letterpress machines from the late 19th and mid-20th century. Unique equipment arrived in Kazan for the first time, straight from Germany, and it gave the project a special charm. We're experimenting with combining full-color images with letterpress printing. And of course there were organizational matters — so many that there wasn't even enough wall space for the notes.
