Ayurveda Reader
It started as a reader for the «Ashtanga Hridaya Samhita» and grew into the largest free portal of primary Ayurveda sources in Russian: 9 classical texts, 34,500+ shlokas in the original, IAST transliteration, and translation — with an encyclopedia, glossaries, and tools. My own project: I put it together and run it myself.
01 / product scope
Not just one book, but a whole library of canons in a single reader
02 / interface
Live screens: a large canonical text that's finally comfortable to read

03 / what it is
A static site in plain JavaScript — runs right in the browser
The frontend is a static single-page site in plain JavaScript (ES modules): it opens straight in the browser, no signup or install needed, and works offline as a PWA.
The dynamic features — expert login, crowdsourced corrections, subscriptions, and a daily post — are handled by a lightweight backend (serverless on Vercel or Node/Express) and a Telegram bot. All texts were extracted from printed editions by hand and adapted for reading in Russian.
